Renowned Pakistani actress Saba Qamar recently revealed that extreme emotional stress led to heart pain, prompting her to undergo an angiography. The Case No. 9 star shared this frightening experience during a candid conversation on a podcast, shedding light on the often-overlooked connection between mental health and physical well-being.

Saba, who has long been admired for her strong and resilient persona, admitted that she had always believed herself capable of handling life’s pressures. However, she came to realize that suppressed emotions and unaddressed pain eventually manifest physically, sometimes leading to anxiety, panic attacks, or even serious health issues like heart problems.

“I thought I was strong enough to deal with everything, but I learned the hard way that emotional stress can take a toll on the body,” said the Love like water actress. She disclosed that she had recently experienced a mild heart attack, which was followed by an angiography the next day. Despite the scare, she reassured her fans, saying, “I’m feeling much better now.”

Saba’s experience opened up a larger conversation about the impact of emotional stress on physical health. She explained that, as a young person, she had always heard about anxiety and panic attacks from others but never fully understood their severity until she went through them herself. “It’s painful and indescribable,” she confessed.

According to the 41-year-old actress, doctors have identified multiple causes for heart- issues in younger individuals, many of which are not directly tied to cholesterol. “When we hold on to stress and pain for too long, it starts affecting different parts of the body,” she added.

Saba also shared her decision to speak out about her health scare to encourage others to take their mental and physical well-being seriously. Reflecting on past dismissals of her mental health struggles, she noted, “People often said that I had everything — fame, money, success — so how could I be unhappy? But mental health issues can affect anyone, regardless of their outward circumstances.”

In conclusion, Saba emphasized that fame or fortune does not shield anyone from the impacts of mental health challenges, urging people to seek help and not ignore their emotional well-being. “Mental health issues have nothing to do with fame or fortune,” she concluded, offering a reminder that self-care and mental health are paramount for everyone.
