New Delhi. Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met BAPS Swaminarayan Saints in Nashik today. The Defense Minister wished Diwali to the BAPS Saints and praised BAPS’s legacy of global spiritual inspiration and humanitarian service. During this, the Defense Minister mentioned his recent visit to BAPS Swaminarayan Temple in Sydney, Australia. He appreciated the unique contribution being made by BAPS in the global spread of Indian culture, spirituality and eternal values. Rajnath Singh said, BAPS organization has powerfully inspired the spirit of faith, unity and human service across the world.
The Defense Minister praised the spirit of unity, devotion and selfless service displayed by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Teerthaswarup Swami and saints. With deep reverence for his continued success in the service of the nation and India’s progress, peace and security, the blessings of His Holiness Mahamahant Swami Maharaj were conveyed to the Defense Minister. The meeting ended with inspiration of spiritual warmth, mutual respect and patriotism, which was a beautiful symbol of coordination of devotion and national service. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of cordiality, goodwill and festive joy, with best wishes and good wishes for peace, prosperity and national unity for Diwali.
Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) has more than 1200 temples across the world.
