Rajasthan News: URBAN Improvement Trust in Rajasthan is now going to bring big gifts for the people of the area across the track. Tender process is being started in the month of September to speed up incomplete development works in the area. Construction of roads, drains and other infrastructure works will begin before Diwali, which will provide relief from the prolonged inconveniences to the common man.
Several important development works were approved in the recent UIT Trust meeting. Under this, a total of 14 new roads will be constructed in several track colonies including Moongska, Janata Colony, Tiger Colony, Surajmal Colony and Moti Nagar. Apart from this, CC roads will be built in ward numbers 52, 53, 54, 55 and 57 so that the problem of rain and waterlogging can be solved permanently.
Development will not be limited to only roads. Rain water harvesting system will also be installed by UIT in these areas so that rainwater can be conserved. Also, four major drains will be constructed in Khudnpuri and Mannaka areas, which will improve drainage and prevent flood -like situation.
Additionally, the construction of a walking track on either side of the 200 feet wide bypass in Surya Nagar is also proposed, which will provide a great public facility for the morning and evening walking and fitness.
UIT XEN Kumar Sambhav Awasthi informed that the tender process will be completed by the end of September under the direction of Secretary Snehal Nana. After this, work will be started before Diwali. He said that a target has been set to complete all the work within the stipulated time.
