E Aadhaar App Launched: Government of India Aadhaar card A new one for holders Mobile application Developing. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is developing the app, its main purpose is to update their personal details without visiting Aadhaar service centers. This app will make it easier and safe to make changes to information such as name, address and date of birth.

Likely to be launched by the end of the year

According to government officials, the new app is expected to launch later this year. This app is being developed as a simple and safe platform to relieve Aadhaar card holders from frequent visits to centers.

These personal details can be updated

Through the new Aadhaar mobile app, users can directly update the following important details from their smartphone:

• Name


• Address


• Date of birth

This digital facility will reduce the need for biometric certification (fingerprint and iris scan) at registration centers. Also, this app will make the process of update more secure and integrity by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Face ID technology.

To simplify the verification of documents required for Aadhaar updates, UIDAI will provide automatic documents in many government databases. This includes the following documents:
