The question of a double-decker flyover on the Pune-Ahilinagar highway has finally been resolved. It has been reported that the way to set up a double flyover with the metro between Ramwadi and Wagholi has finally been cleared.

The government and the administration have succeeded in solving the troubles that have been created with this work. Now the Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Mahamatro ‘has been entrusted with the responsibility of the project.

Therefore, now the double -decker flyover will be completed in the scheduled time and the traffic will be reduced in the area. The construction of a double-decadekar corridor of Ramwadi-Wagholi 11.63 km long will be done by Mahamatro.

A separate flyover for vehicles along with Metro Railway will also be set up on this route and the entire project is expected to cost around Rs 3626 crore. The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MSIDC) will provide additional areas of this expenditure.

Further, the extension of the Wagholi will be completed through MSIDC. Earlier, the MSIDC had withdrawn the project due to non -coordination of work due to a separate tender for the flyover.

However, a recent decision was taken at a joint meeting of MSIDC, Mahamato and National Highway Authority (NHAI) recently. With the formal approval of the central government, this phase is important for Pune.

A total of Rs. Although loans are currently available for metro works, senior officials will be meeting soon on raising the remaining funds.

After that the work will be accelerated. This decision will provide a great deal of relief to the eastern traffic of Pune, and the passengers will benefit from the double facility of metro and flyover from the same project.
