After working in a startup till 2016 Yogita moved to Mumbai and started handling sales and marketing in a company there. During this time she started modeling and gradually stepped into acting. She was first seen in a food-based TV show Femme Foodies in 2017 in which she became a contestant. After this she auditioned for some films but did not get initial success but then her luck took a great turn.

Yogita Bihani got her first big break from Salman Khans game show Dus Ka Dum. She participated in this show as a contestant after which she started getting offers for TV serials. In the year 2018 she got a chance to work in Ekta Kapoors romantic show Dil Hi To Hai in which she played the role of Palak Sharma. After working in many TV shows Yogita turned to films. She got small but powerful roles in films like AK Vs AK and Vikram Vedha. But she got real recognition from the film The Kerala Story released in the year 2023. Ada Sharma played the lead role in this film and Yogita played the character of Nima. The film was well-liked and it earned an Indian net collection of Rs 241.74 crore and Rs 302 crore worldwide.
