Two scientists from an educational institution in Chennai have come to this conclusion after conducting a survey on about 1500 women from 10 cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad.

The study report said that 58 percent of the 1,500 women who do not smoke were suffering from problems such as breathing cancer, as well as problems such as breathing cancer, asthma, and eye water.

Roychowdhari, Professor of Environmental Sciences at Jadavpur University, said, “Many diseases including lung cancer are increasing due to pollution from LPG and Charcoal. The administration should make people aware of it.”
