A new feature has come for crores of Gmail users. This feature will prevent the Gmail inbox from filling up. The company has officially confirmed it. This feature has been rolled out for web, Android and iOS users.
Crores of Gmail users will no longer have to worry about the inbox being full. Google has added a new feature to it, through which it will become easier to manage the Gmail inbox. The tech company has officially started rolling out this new Manage Subscription feature. This feature will give Gmail users the option to unsubscribe all promotional emails at once. By doing this, users will not receive promotional emails coming daily and their storage will also not fill up quickly.
The tension of filling up the inbox is over
Rolling out this feature, Google said that work has always been done for Gmail to keep unwanted emails out of the inbox. We have now added a one-click unsubscribe feature to it, which will delete all promotional emails at once. In this way, you will be able to easily delete the promotional email you want to remove from your inbox. This feature has been rolled out simultaneously for web, Android and iOS users.
How will it work?
This Manage Subscription option of Gmail will appear in the side menu of Gmail. It is placed just below the trash option. This feature will give users the option to better organize all active subscriptions, newsletters and promotional messages or deal alerts etc. Apart from this, this feature will also highlight how many promotional emails have been sent by which sender in recent weeks.
This option will help users choose which promotional subscription to unsubscribe. In this, an Unsubscribe button will be found in every listing, on tapping which, the sender sending the promotional email will be unsubscribed. Once you click or tap on Unsubscribe, Google will notify the sender that the promotional subscription has been unsubscribed. After this, these senders will no longer be able to send you promotional emails.
