According to the doctor, about 60 percent of every human body is made up of water. Due to water, blood flow in the body remains proper, digestion is good and dirt is removed from the body. When the water in the body decreases, problems like fatigue, headache, dizziness and constipation start. Therefore, it is important to drink the right amount of water every day.


How many liters of water is right to drink in a day?


One should drink two and a half to three liters of water in a day. If you sweat a lot, such as when you do strenuous work or stay in the sun, then this amount can increase to three to four liters.


Harmful effects of drinking excess water


If you drink 7-8 liters of water, it can be harmful for the body. This dilutes the minerals (such as sodium) present in the body. This can affect the brain, heart and kidneys. This is also called “water toxicity”. Its symptoms include confusion, dizziness, fainting and sometimes it can be life-threatening.
