Although Shefali got married to actor Paras Tyagi much later in 2014 the two continued to share a bond and mutual respect which was only seen during the reality show. In a throwback interview Shefali revealed her experience of sharing the same space with her former partner Siddharth Shukla on Bigg Boss 13. She said that the two had mutual respect and were quite civil; they also shared the same interests in science space and even futuristic transport like bullet trains.

When asked if her husband Parag Tyagi felt insecure about their reunion. Shefali cleared saying Parag had full faith in her and that their relationship was built on a strong foundation of trust and communication.
