New Delhi: Aamir Khan, who is well known for his movies like Taalash, Dangal, and Secret Superstar, recently appeared in a podcast with Raj  Shamani, where he shared many of his views on Bollywood as an industry and also on some of the people involved in it.

Aamir, being a believer in equality, said that not only the top three Khans but every actor and actress of Bollywood deserves credit, when it comes to those who started working in Hindi films from the 1980s.

Aamir’s comment

When asked what makes he one of the top three Khans of the Bollywood Industry, He Replied With An Objection and Said Akshay Kumar, AJAY DEVGN, and Hrithik Roshan deserve equal credit. He said that not only the khans but all the three actors have worked hard. He said, “Mujhe jo cheeze taqlif deti hai ki log shah rukh, salman aur mera naam lete hai. Ki humare saath saath ajay devgn bhi itne hi saal chale hai, akshay kumar bhi itne hi saal chale hai, hrithik bhi itne hi saal chale hai (Whats me is that pehukh Salman’s Names.

Aamir also believes that all the actors who started working in the Bollywood industry and made it a worldwide entertainment hub deserve credit and applause. He further added, “There have been a host of us. This generation of all of us that came in the late 80s. Woh generation sirf Salman, Shah Rukh aur main nahi. Humme se kayi log hai jo 30-35 saal se kaam karrahe hai, jo normal nahi hai. Sabne badi hits di aur sab bohut kamyaab hai. Toh main yeh correct karna chahta hoon (That generation isn’t Salman, Shah Rukh and me.. many of us worked for 30-35 years, it’s not normal. Everyone has given hits and all of them are successful. So I want to correct it),” he added.

The three Khans’ effect in Bollywood

The Bollywood film industry has been dominated by the three Khans for many years. Beginning their careers as newcomers in the early 1990s, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan’s paths have paralleled each others. They experienced it all together; be it the swift fame, setbacks, and international acclaim, all of which came around the same time. Occasionally allies and at other times rivals, these contemporary stars have inevitably been compared due to their immense popularity. Recently, Aamir Khan also shared that there was a spirit of healthy rivalry among the three Khans during the 90s.
