Ayodhya: Mahaotsav is going to be held again in the city of Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh. 14 temples are being presented in the Ram temple complex here. A grand program of Pran Pratishtha will be organized here on 5 June. During this time, temples will be respected with full customs amidst Vedic chanting.


The Ganga Dussehra will go on the occasion of the Ganga Dussehra festival on June 5, which will come to the life of 14 temples located in the Ram temple complex of Ayodhya. According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, a three-day festival will be celebrated from June 3 to June 5 on the occasion of Pran-Pratishtha.


Organizing will start with Shivling installation


Rituals regarding Pran Pratishtha will begin on 30 May. It will begin with the establishment of Shiva Linga in the temple located in the campus. A total of 101 Vedic scholars of Kashi and Ayodhya will be overseening the rituals that will include worship of ‘Yagyashala’, recitation of Valmiki Ramayana, chanting, recitation of the four Vedas and other traditional ceremonies.


The life of these 6 temples in the main campus


The throne of two-feet high marble is specially designed for the gods. Officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust said that the idols will be placed on these throne during the life-prestige ceremony. He informed that the temples whose life is to be respected include six temples located in the main campus. These temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva, Surya Dev, Ganapati, Hanuman, Goddess Bhagwati and Goddess Annapurna.


Prana of seven temples in Sapt Mandapam region


Seven temples located in the Sapt Mandapam region will be respected, in which gods and revered figures like sages Vashistha, Valmiki, Agastya, Vishwamitra, Ahilya, Shabri and Nishadraj will be distinguished. The idol of Lakshmanji will also be respected in the Seshavatar temple. Trust officials said that a large number of devotees are expected to attend the event and this will further increase the spiritual and cultural significance of the Ram temple complex. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram temple was held on 22 January 2024 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


Preparations have been started for cleanliness and decoration in the Ayodhya temple complex. The temple complex will be decorated with flowers. On this occasion, the crowd will be high, under which strict instructions have also been given to make special security arrangements.
