Falsa, which looks like a plum, contains iron, vitamins, and other elements in abundance. Falsa also protects from heat stroke. Its effect is cold, and it is also beneficial for the stomach. There is a different pleasure in eating Falsa chutney. If people suffering from anemia make and eat it, then it can be very beneficial for them. You must have tasted many types of chutneys till now, but this time try this new and different dish. This chutney also gives tough competition in taste. You can prepare it in minutes with the help of our recipe.



Ingredients


Phalsa – 1/2 kg
Jaggery – 1/2 bowl
Cumin powder – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Black salt – as per taste
Plain salt – as per taste


Recipe


- First of all, take the phalsa and wash them thoroughly in clean water. After this, heat water in a vessel and boil the phalsa by adding water to it.


- When the phalsa boils well, turn off the gas and filter them with the help of a sieve and keep them aside to cool.


- After some time, when the phalsa cools down, put them in the mixer jar and then grind them by putting the lid on the jar.


- Now filter the prepared paste of phalsa through a sieve so that all the seeds of the phalsa come out. Now take a pan and keep it on medium flame to heat it.



- When the pan gets hot, put the phalsa paste in it. Keep stirring it with the help of a spoon until all the water present in the phalsa paste dries up.


- When the paste thickens, add jaggery, black salt, cumin powder, and salt as per taste and mix well.


- Dry the water released after adding jaggery completely while cooking. It will take 5-7 minutes to prepare the chutney. Now turn off the gas. Phalsa chutney is ready.
